So, a Woman has had it with Starbucks because of quote on cup. It was an intellectual dig at people who believe in God. It's not even a quote from some famous thinker but from a Starbucks customer. I think it's more an insult than a conversation starter which could have been summed up as, "people who believe in god are stupid." Not a good way to foster good customer relations, IMO, and that's coming from the 99% athiest.
I think the Army’s Diesel-Electric ‘Aggressor’ looks more like a puma.
OK, despite what I thought Krumping has nothing to do with Crunk and only a little to do with Clowning.
Last night, on some Family Channel show with teenage girls, I saw one girl chase the other talking about relatively unknown names for common things. This morning I saw this link. What do you think it means?
Ahhh if only the CoinStar machine at our grocery store was a bit more up to date and a bit more hidden.
Hmm, if I had my druthers I would have a Customer Service category and rant on a regular basis about the lack of it in most industries. Be thankful I don't. But occasionally that imaginary category would have links to good articles like Seven steps to remarkable customer service and the Vox post about Nintendo.
Marmy, who is this actor? We have seen him in some movies. And rhetorically I ask, "Why is he the face in a MS website image?"
A nice interview with Hannah Sung, Former MuchMusic VJ who like some of her bretheren has gone onto a better life than slugging bad videos. To be honest though, she was slugging the better music for the last number of years. I just remember her for bumping (literally) into her while walking down a hill in Montreal after buying tickets for FantAsia. And that she's darn cute.
As a player of many FPS games, I am subject to the Gun Porn, and I must say that the nutcase's cx4 storm beretta sure was a pretty gun. But I think I will stick to getting a Lord of the Rings replica sword instead.
Oh man, Steve Irwin died a freak death. That just plain sucks. I really like people who live their life so fully as I sit here in my underwear reading the web and pondering a coffee.
This Dictionary of Victorian London would be an incredible resource for a Steampunk game.
I love when I hear a story of good customer service.
When I see this allegation that Bill Swanson is a plagiarist (Swanson is a big time boss type who wrote down his tricks at management and is peddling them as a book) it just makes me think about how people really need to realize how the Internet works. If you try and pull the wool over someone's eyes, you will get caught by someone with too much knowledge or time on their hands.
Neat! It's an online scifi zine called The Infinite Matrix.
I have been with Dreamhost since I got my island domain name. They are pleasantly informal in their dealings. The same can be said for their Blog.
