Creativity Link Fodder
I do love me some creative model kit building, especially considering many of them of self-created kits.

Wow. I can really see myself becoming addicted to making plushie designs. The problem is, I couldn't sew them together. p.s. i think the girl narrating the video has a PhD in cuteness, or is at least working on it.

I have to browse through it a bit more but I think I will really like notebookism.

If you haven't noticed yet, tons of people use the internet to tell others about the Schtuph they make. People with leet skillz make things from paper and from cloth and from glass and from yarn and either sell it via their own site or via lil helpers like Etsy. It's often not about the selling of the product but the "doing something with it" after they have made it. They can only give away to friends so much before the hand comes up. That is why I like the Coudal Partners Swap Meat so much. Not only can you make something neat and give it away, but it's really neat, you will get something else neat in return.

When I was a kid I had a ton of those "learn to draw" books that spawned from popular franchises. They always started with circles and wire-drawings and in 5 steps magically turned into superb sketches of characters. That pissed off the younger me -- how the fuck did they go from bare bones circles with a few detail lines to finished work?!?! But I think I could have handled the LEGO Han Solo and Stormtrooper. In fact, I might just...

My mom did something called paper tole, where she took multiple stock victorian pictures and cut them up, reassembling them with dots of glue into layered almost 3D images. I was always wondering what it would be like to do something similar with photos.

I really appreciate this Questionable Content tutorial that outlines the simple process he uses to create his comics. It wasn't until I saw the part about the shading that I saw how integral it is to his strips; I guess if you don't notice them thyey are doing a great job. And I only thought about doing my own webcomic for about 2.3 seconds.

As if I need another project with all the other ones I have in my brain but not started, but I like the idea of Digitize Your Attic and I might steal it's core and digitize everything paper related I have in those boxes scattered about the room. It's about time I actively used my scanner and put something new on guest.thisboyistoast.nu.

Hrrrm, I think I might make Moo-gnets and I must say that that is a scrumptious masthead at Meish. ( note: oooops, it's revolving so you probably won't see what I saw)

I have always had a facination with dioramas and minatures environments, and though I never actually played with miniatures in D&D I still have the great urge to make a minature tavern with a dwarf sitting at the bar.

A few years ago I bought, when I was flush with funds, a ton of knitting shite because she wanted to start the hobby. Recently she bought some knitting books. I hope to get a Hand-crocheted scrollbar scarf out of the deal.
