Communication Link Fodder
Gahh, I love the Letters to Esther project where a large number of letters from the 20s were scanned in, after being found at a flea market. Compelling. I feel weird about having chucked the majority of my letters to penfriends from years past.

While I read this Rogers Portable Internet bait and switch post I am not surprised, neither by the misleading and mistakes on the website nor the belligerent attitude of the customer service people. I work with Rogers everyday at work and only the simplest of tasks are done without trouble. But the more difficult or complicated tasks always get screwed up and take forever. Such is the life of a callcenter employee, not trained properly nor paid enough to give a shite about their job. I am just glad the incompetence has me getting free cable since I cancelled in April but still watch TV.

Despite what I thought, a Shibboleth is an element of language usage that identifies your origin, as opposed to a nasty green & gelatinous monster of Cthulhu mythos origins.

Heh heh heh, in theme with the CBC Lockout we have the She Be She Strike or what happens during a real CBC strike and the inuit janitor starts to run the station. I think I see a sitcom coming up...

I like that at cbcunplugged.com producers who still want the public to listen to them are producing content (though i haven't found it yet) for the podcasting craze, I still wonder if they might damage their relations with their bosses.
