I promised myself I wouldn't blog EVERYTHING i just found on the Paperforest site but I had to connect to Letterfu, a template to fold a sheet of paper you have written a letter on into an envelope to be mailed. I love this idea and have purchased a few packages in the past that did this but the format always gave the smallest writing space. This one seems to be maxmized. But I don't write as often. As a tangent, back in the days when I did write alot, I used to take posters and large format magazines and slice them into envelope shapes to house the letters I had to mail out -- I can remember dissecting a handful of envelopes in order to use them as templates.

Today I retired my journal / notebook. This one has been with me since May 01. It is only 55% full. It's cover was created by collaging inkjet printouts of my favourite deziney style websites, those kinds of design based collectives that are not in vogue right now. It has journal entries, laundry lists, addresses, drawings, collages, complaints, unsent letters and postcard (stuffed inside), D&D notes, etc. I will now find another to take it's place but i think i might go for spiral bound.

R We D8ting? is about the interaction that is possible before an actual date, via the commonplace text messaging done with phones. Now not that dating is an option for me, but I am surprised I am not more into txt or sms. it is an off-shoot of the typical email but short and easier and focused on portable devices. but i seem to react to it the same way that people i know react to cellphones -- why use that technology when you can just pick up a real phone and talk.
