| Firefly not good scifi So I start the reading the post entitled Why Firefly is not good Science Fiction with a shake of my head because the first point they make is, "Too much sex." Then they complain about the takes on religion, about the lack of FTL and the unrealistic teraforming. I wonder why sex & religion make or break scifi and then I read their "About." One should not base their opinions of good scifi or not good scifi on their own religious beliefs. As for the technical merits, it might not be good hard scifi but it definately made for good space opera. June 29 07 |
