wow-thoughts
Virtual thoughts. Those few hours playing WoW nightly when I get home from work seeking to unwind and release some tension from my brow and add some to my shoulders have left me with some thoughts about the world famous MMO.
- OMG, running is boring.
- Quest text is interesting for the first... three, then you just click 'Accept'. That is disappointing as I was hoping to be more immersed in the world of the game.
- Speaking of being immersed, RPG Servers are nice concepts and I was looking forward to the enforced role-playing. Too bad it's just that, a concept, as nobody takes it seriously and nobody on the Blizzard side enforces it. In general, it's worse than the Normal servers as people are trying their best to Troll you and piss you off.
- No, I haven't tried PvP yet and it will be some time before I do. While the other 6million people might be playing the game for that, I am not. Walking through a town after a raid and seeing the bodies everywhere is enough for me.
- Every so often you just have to kill a bunny or a cow.
- Professions are fun but you have to take the right combo. And there is nothing like the sense of accomplishment in making a fine pair of gloves or cooking a lovely Boar Pie.
- At first the size of the world was amazing spending a few nights running around in only the first map. Then I realized I wanted to see more maps right away and the world got smaller.
- More emotes please.
